A martingale collar is made with two loops. The large loop wraps around your dog's neck loosely and comfortably. The smaller loop where there is a D-ring to attach the leash. They only tighten up securely when pulled, distribute the pressure around your dog's neck, rather than concentrating it at the front like traditional collars.
